Sex attracts us and distracts us. The mere mention of the word can swivel heads. No matter what we do, we can’t seem to avoid it. Everyone thinks of sexuality a little differently too, so our opinions don’t always match up, and that makes everything a little more awkward.
But sexuality doesn’t have to be awkward.
It can be beautiful. It can be- surprisingly enough- sexy. It can be funny. It can be ironic. It can be personal or shared.
It was my goal in this photo essay to capture the feelings of sexuality in several different people to create a cohesive narrative that still had some character variety. To me, sexuality isn’t just sex. It’s how we make ourselves feel sexy. It’s how we get ready, how we look in the mirror, and how we feel when we are intimate with another person. It’s also the aftermath. It’s the detail-sharing phone calls we have with friends and the fights we have with lovers. It’s undeniable; sexuality encompasses a huge portion of everyone’s hidden personality.

well its true that a picture can paint a thousand words. the images sure is bring more meaning than a bunch of text as aspects of female sexuality that are being demystified by research.
