Social Media is THE Source for News

Social media is rapidly becoming the platform from which we get a large portion (most) of the news. I found out that Michael Jackson died on Facebook, Brittany Murphy on Twitter, and that Randy Moss was traded via breaking news updates on my iPhone. The news literally comes to me. I no longer have to go to CNN’s website or watch news broadcasts on TV. I can just log into my social media news generator of choice.
Dear Paul Carr, You Suck.

Online universities: friend or foe?
